What is Near Field Communication (NFC)?
Near Field Communication or NFC is a set of communication protocols using which two electronic devices can communicate with each other over a short distance, usually a few cms. NFC uses electromagnetic induction between two loop antennas at a specific frequency and transfers data at a short range. The data is stored in a small microchip called a tag. When a reader is placed within a short distance, the stored data is read from the tag.
How does NFC work? What are the security concerns of NFC, and how can we address them? In this article, we would discuss those in detail.
