What is Single Sign-On (SSO)?
Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication scheme using which a user can log in to multiple applications with a single ID and password. For example, let’s say a user logs in to Gmail using his email address and password. Now, if the user visits Youtube or Google Drive, he does not need to log in again by providing his credentials. Instead, the user gets automatically logged in when he visits Youtube or Google Drive or any other Google applications. Here, SSO is used to enable the user to log in to multiple Google applications with a single ID and password.
